The 75th Austrian Officers’ Ball

The 75th Austrian Officers’ Ball took place in the historic halls of the Hofburg in Vienna, themed ‘Sounds of Musics’, inspired by the musical about the history of the Trapp family.

This year’s partner was the Vermont National Guard from the USA, which shares a connection with Austria’s musical history alongside the military partnership.

➡️ The guest of honor was the granddaughter of Georg Ritter von Trapp and her family, who specially traveled from Vermont for the event.

The opening featured the song ‘Edelweiss’, beautiful waltz tunes from the Guard Music Band, and the rhythmic sounds of the US-Vermont National Guard. The uniforms from all over the world are a sign of our international friendships.
